Description: The museum is housed in one of the Martello Towers; these were built as protection from invasion during the Napoleonic Wars. The one in Seaford was completely restored in the late 1970's and artefacts regarding the towns history plus re-constructions of shop and domestic scenes (such as a Victorian kitchen, grocer's shop, school and chemist) can be found inside.
